That did get me thinking. I went back over the Sheriff reports for the last month (thanks to Yin_mei for keeping good records
). It seems like we bring in an average of 523.97 daily in animals sales. Which if you average that out over 7 days, means that the Kuni makes 3,667.76 weekly off animal sales. Now we make we make about 17.5% profit collectively off the animals the Kuni sells. So the flip side of that is that 82.5% of animal sales are fodder costs. Which when you take 82.5% of 3,667.76 you get 3,025.90 we should be spending out weekly for fodder. Now given that, I'll just evenly divide that expediture amongst our 4 koris . . . and that comes out to 756.48 that we need to be spending in each kori for fodder.
I wanted to revisit our weekly income. For the past 4 weeks we have made an average of 4,060.59 off the mines, plus 3,025.90 (income for fodder). So that's 7,086.49 on average we make a week. Divide that between the 4 koris and each can get 1,771.62 (which is slightly higher then what I originally figured).
760.00 - needs to go towards buying wheat/rice
650.00 - needs to go towards buying goods for celebrations
360.00 - for other discretionary things like wood, other tradeable goods (for example that equals 84 wood, or 23 pig carcasses, or 20 meat).
So hypothetically we would get a good mix of goods weekly and I'll use sakai as an example:
20 wheat @ 12.25 = 245.00 (fodder)
156 rice @ 3.30 = 514.80 (fodder)
20 fish @ 18.50 = 370.00 (celebrations)
16 meat @ 18.00 = 288.00 (celebrations)
15 pig carcasses @ 15.50 = 232.50 (goods the Kuni can use)
10 flour @ 12.50 = 125.00 (goods the Kuni can use)
= 1775.30
I think that is a perfect weekly grant for a Kori. The Kuni gets a nice mix of fodder, it gets 36 meals to put towards celebrations (which if you multiply that by each town we would have 144 meals for the week and we only need 140), and they can get rid of some excess goods like pig carcasses and flour that the Kuni can use. With our fodder price, MBs make good profit off selling that to us and can make money, especially on fish and meat.
I'm just running numbers and thinking up hypothetical situations. I would urge, starting next week that when MBs think about what they would like to sell to the Kuni, they try using this model.
